how do I raze a city
I'm playing the A new dawn mod, and I can't figure out if I can raze a city(the no city razing option isn't checked btw) and there isn't an option given when I capture a city, barb or otherwise. This is kinda frustrating because I play with larger cities and the comp puts cities too close together, anyone please help me, why can't I raze cities, why isn't the option coming up, wtf is going on.

Damn razist, you must learn to respect thy foe and let 'em live after successful conquest.

Why can't I raze a city anymore?
Make sure "No City Razing" option is OFF. Also, when you raze a city in AND, you can't do it in one turn. You can only do it when a city has just being conquered while it's still in revolt for some turns (you can see a red fist) and you have to pillage the city with your units. Each time you pillage you might lower population by one and extend revolt period by one turn. If you reach size 1 and you pillage, the city is razed and some specialist from that city might relocate to one of your cities. Only ground units can pillage. Also, make sure "Friendly Pillaging" is selected under BUG options.

Next time put [NEW DAWN] in the subject line.

you are asking a mod specific question without telling people before they enter the topic, which makes them irritated.
with the exception of capital cities I almost always raze enemy cities. I then replace with my own. gotta be quick if there is another civ next to you because sometimes there just waiting for you to burn the other guys city to the ground and plop a city down with a troll face going problem. you can't really do much about becuase your too busy killing the other guy.:steamsad:

Maybe they were letting off some steam, and they reckon you can solve this problem under your own steam. :steamhappy:

Razing captured cities means you lose any buildings they contain. It's also quite razist, like Agent Z said. :steamhappy:

yes, well, if the city is in a truly garbage location and a couple tiles to the right would be better I consider razing it.

AI is pretty bad at placing cities, but to be fair some of its cities are to fight for its border with its neighbors like the gaza strip.

once you've taken that border, the reason for it being there is gone.
