Steam Starter Pack Update: What's Inside Now?
Greetings pilots!

Recently we have updated the Starter Pack that is available to new EVE Online users on Steam. Originally called the Amarr Explorer Starter Pack, its goal was to introduce the players to the very basics of ship operation and fitting, and give them a small boost in one of many EVE careers – exploration.

However, having only a single race’s ship and equipment at their disposal can be rather restricting – and confusing – for new players, and so we have expanded the contents of the pack. The new version includes the following items:

(Scroll down for table!)

1 Prototype Cerebral Accelerator A booster that allows you to train skills faster. Works only for characters younger than 14 days.
1 Magnate Exploration frigate used by the Amarrians.

Nice update, thanks for the listing. It's so hard to find a clear list of everything.

I bought the Starter Pack about a week ago and I was not disappointed, this is a nice starter set as well, would be a great purchase for starting an alt.

Hope this upgrades all the older starter packs otherwise you guys are just flat out dirty as hell doing this after the long sale you just had.

Just fyi, every single item except the booster is practically worthless.

Dock up, hit escape, and press the "redeem items" button on the lower left.

Do you recieve this starter bundle if you purchase the Rubicon Bundle for $30, or only if you get the one acctually called "Starter Bundle"

Spitfire confirmed in some older threads that you do get all the stuff. Basically, the Rubicon bundle adds a PLEX on top of everything else.

QFT :) This is correct.

Bought starter pack, created an account, verified it. Entered the game, created a character, once docked, tried to redeem items but there is nothing to redeem. Disappointed.

BTW it says it's only 13 days left of subscription. Doesn't started pack give you 30 days?

It sounds to me like you made a trial account by accident...

Yep, dont need to 'create an account', its done automatically - theres an issue atm with accounts not being created immediately, will have to show some patience for now - maybe a few hours.
You will know that your account has been created when you load the laucher and it displays your username with a big 'play' button beneath it.

That sounds good, it explains my problem then. I hope CCP fix this inmediately, it's more than a few hours now :-\

Thanks.
