Forced me to make a new account?
I had a trial account I was using, and bought the Rubicon bundle on Steam to upgrade it. But it forced me to make a brand new Steam account for it, and I don't have my character or time. Is there any way to fix this?

No. You can't apply an EVE account purchased on Steam to a trial account made directly on the EVE website.

Literally the very first thing mentioned on the Steam EVE store page, in bold letters and an orange border around it:

"Notice: Purchasing a Starter Pack will initiate the creation of a new EVE account. This account cannot be combined with any existing EVE account(trial included) and has to be accessed separately through the Steam client."

Oh, noted. Is there any way I can send my other character's stuff over? Through mail, etc?

You can trade directly by logging into both accounts at the same time. Alternatively, you can create contracts. Look up some info on that.

Yeah, and for a direct trade you gotta be on the same station...

If the first account is still a trial, you probably won't be able to log it on at the same time as your new one. I think there are even restrictions on sending ISK and creating contracts with a trial account, so you may need to get someone to help you with direct trades.
