There's only one sensible choice there, and it's the second one. However, if the three choices could be turned into a sliding scale, with choice 1 being a 0, choice 2 being a 5, and choice 3 being a 10, I would put the slider at about 6.

I can't believe people went for option one, option 3 I can't see a problem with but people get butthurt to easy which just leaves option 2 as the only viable one.

Hard to believe that the same people had thicker skins as kids than the adults they are today

Option 1 won, actually. Well not officially, but it seems the most people voted for it. But that's to be expected, since the majority of the gaming population is composed of carebears with a superority complex nowadays.

lol .. i haven'y pvp'd in years so i'd fall under carebear but I just know that it's game where i can die anytime (ok not in station), get conned, scammed etc and if killed get ranted at

doesn't help help when families play mmo's together and then complain because their 6yr old (or less) is reading chat and it's not polite lol

Option 3

Hands off MY Sociopath Simulator...

Players create content and should be allowed to without interference from CCP!

Otherwise this isn't a sandbox, just a poorly disguised themepark.

It's terrifying to read the comments of the EVE players in that thread. There are some that advocate banning players just for using questionable language in local! I've been adding them to my gank list.
