ugh the character creation takes time
how to fix this ?

Leave your character as default?

The loading time is too much.

Let the game finish downloading before you launch it, otherwise it has to download everything on the fly.

The character creation screen and the captains quarter is graphically much more intensive than the rest of EVE, so maybe thats why it takes a long time for you.
