Xbox 360 wireless controller deadzone
The deadzone for the sticks seems to be nonexistent or extremely small when using a wireless 360 controller, but completely fine when using a wired controller. This results in continued movement or shooting in a particular direction when you let go of the sticks until you move them again in another direction. This only happens when using a wireless controller, and it doesn't happen every time either, it's hit or miss.

Has anyone else experienced this and found a fix? I tried using x360ce but it wasn't much help. If I use x360ce to force a large enough deadzone to overcome this, I lose granularity in my aim and it becomes limited to 8-way aim.

sorry, was going to suggest x360ce upon seeing the title to yer post, for me & it's prolly due to my advanced age I kinda appreciate how it's set up at default, but that's me. I hope you find a solution and are able to enjoy the game, it's a good un. peace ;-)

It's not the end of the world since once the game gets going, there is seldom any reason NOT to be holding the sticks in one direction or another! ;)

However, it would be nice to eliminate the problem all the same... This has been one of my all time favorite games ever since it originally launched on Xbox 360, and being limited to a wired controller to experience the game without this issue on PC is somewhat disappointing.

Hmm...I had the same problem using my Gamepad. I got rid of that by using xpadder.

Alsao happens to me with a near brand new wireless 360 controller and also my older one, game is kinda sh i t to be honest,i was expecting this to be better,no online leader boards either,360 version of the game is better.Use xpadder and change the dead zone, then your controller will always use that new deadzone as long as you have xpadder set to load with windows, this will forever eliminate the problem with all games.
