Massive frame rate drop

Just happened. I had to shut it down.

Any ideas why?

i found some information´s, they describet that you have turn down the frame rate. for example form 60HZ to 59HZ. That adjustmenst are Ingame.

I have had this happen from time to time with games like BF3 running a gtx570. It runs the game perfectly fine but then one day I start it up and the framerate is like..10fps. Have to do a restart just to get games to run correctly. Hope it's just some registry type error and not a faulty card.
