What do you mean? The game is being given by the developer themselves.

Hi everyone! Dave from Wadjet Eye here. I was linked to this thread.

The events of yesterday are long and complicated, but here's the short version: If you were given a link to a page that gave you a steam code, that was NOT sanctioned by us. That was the backend of the free giveaway system that was discovered, exploited, and went viral. If it remained with people nabbing one key for themselves and themselves only, I wouldn't have even noticed (or cared). But sadly, a number of unscrupulous people used bots and IP masking and chewed through the codes by the bucketful. Nabbing over 30,000 of them overnight. Obviously, I have to do something about it.

The only thing I can do is disable the codes that were generated after I shut down the free offer. NOBODY will be banned. The codes will be deactivated and the games will disappear from your library. That is all.

Again: nobody will be banned! Steam has confirmed this themselves.

And in addition, I'm really sorry about all this insanity. If you have any questions and want to speak to me personally, my email is dave@wadjetyegames.com.

Thanks,

-Dave
