You CAN Change Options (i.e. Windowed Mode)
Hey, just got this game myself, and I figure there might be other people interested in this as well, since it was just in a bundle.

If, like me, you don't like the fullscreen since it sort of warps everything since it's a lowres game, you can change it to windowed mode. I've also read of people having issues with dual monitor setups. Anyway, if for whatever reason you want to fiddle with the options:

Go to your library, right click on Gemini Rue to access the menu, then click on Properties. Click SET LAUNCH OPTIONS and type "--setup" and click OK. Launch the game, and a settings menu will pop up.

There are a few different settings, and I haven't explored them all. But there's a checkbox for windowed mode, and the 2X/3X/4X changes the overall size. For example, 4X streches it to 1280x800. When you have options you like, click Save and Run. If everything works how you want it to, you can delete the "--setup" from the launch options and your new settings will remain...but the shortcut in your library will be back to taking you right to the game without having to see the settings menu each time. If not, keep fiddling till you like it, then delete the "--setup" if you want.

Hope this was helpful to some of you! :)

I don't know, sorry. What is causing the issue? Setup just won't launch, or something?

Find acsetup.cfg in the game folder/app bundle, open it and change windowed=0 to windowed=1. If there is no such a file, create a new text file, open it and insert this.

[misc]
windowed=1

Then save it as "acsetup.cfg".

That's what I did on Linux and it worked for me!

Some useful info about running windowed mode and choosing the window size also here: http://steamcommunity.com/app/80310/discussions/0/648814841989944470/
