Which should I purchase?
So, I'm on the verge of buy Fate of the World... watched a few Let's Play and Reviews on YouTube and have really gotten to like the game. My only dilemma is should I buy the original game with the DLC... or should I just go for the Tipping Point edition?

What's the difference... are there any advantages/disadvantages to either one?

Tipping Point contains all the game's DLC and Soundtrack: it is effectively the game' GOTY edition. Oddly enough however, if you aren't interested in buying the game's soundtrack (it can still be extracted from the game files at ogg quality 7), you're better off just buying the base game with the two DLC's.
Both DLC's are quite nice: Migration DLC adds an entirely new strategic layer to the game via migrants, while Denial DLC gives you the only scenario in the entire game that is actually fun to play (other than Dr. Apocalypse, but you need to unlock that mission, whereas Denial is playable right from the getgo).

Know that the game's developers are now defunct, so I don't think anyone would blame you if you were to _acquire_ *wink* *wink* the game to try it out before you plop down $20 for a possibly unfun game littered with green propaganda (pun intended).
