Black Ops
So I used a bio plague early on in the game to destroy China and cut their rather significant contribution to emissions. Anyway I was caught for it about 12 turns later. What a waste of time, especially considering I didn't use any other black ops. Seemingly there's no way to actually use the plagues unless you're using them right near the end of a scenario when you dont have to care about being caught because you will definitely be caught. Oh and you'd get no benefit from using the plagues late on in a scenario because all the emissions have been made.

The disappointing thing about this game is that there's only one way to win so all the options that I'm presented with are actually just false choices. Nuclear energy is massively under rated as if there's some kind of Uranium shortage or we could even realistically use as much Uranium as we have to hand. There seems to be no option but firing aerosols into the air while stripping out hydrocarbons and mitigating the economic failure while building as much renewables as you can afford. ANY other strategy just fails.

Developer take note straight jacket games suck.

Devs went bankrupt about a year ago, so you're wasting your time addressing them.

All black ops and deep black ops cards raise your "evil" score, which can be lowered by playing disinformation or scapegoat (both gray cards as well).

If you're still willing to give the game a shot, try out my unofficial patch: it fixes a lot of bugs and exploits that weren't addressed in the original game, but it also shuffles around a lot of effects and systems to make the game more... well, fun.
