High GPU temps?
I have a XFX 7950. and this game at the highest settings gives it a little run for its money. But I'm not sure why. It brings temps up to about 75-80C. Nothing else does it. I'm thinking its a fan speed issue. Its not an airflow problem.
Any suggestions?

It's probably running at a stupidly high framerate, enable v-sync to limit it.

it's a normal temp for the card, i have an xfx 6970 and it runs between 80 and 90C when i play games. it just means the games using the GPU a lot.

the drivers for the card you have should not let it get over 90C, if they do you will know about it because the fan will rev up 50% to cool it. but still it's normal. if the temps start to creep over that and the fan is having no effect then i would think there might be an issue.

google 'msi kombustor' and run a benchmark/stability test with it.

Hello, I have a XFX HD 7950 Core Edition & DD and here is the my gpu temperatures:

Stock clocks (800/1250): 50 - 55 C under heavy load (Core Edition)
OC (1240/1650): 86 C max, under heavy load and %99 GPU usage (Core Edition)
In Crossfire with XFX DD 7950 (1100/1575) : Top card 80 C, 2nd one is 75 C

My suggestion is download MSI afterburner and set your fan profile to auto, if it doesn't help, set them manually. You can do these from CCC too.

Edit: Your card runs hot, temperatures shouldn't reach 80 degrees for TR:Anniversary.HD 3450 can play that game at maxed settings with 30+ FPS.
