Unable to play.
I recently got a bunch of the games with the autum sale I recently downloaded anniversary and I can lanch the game but after the intro if it naturally ends, or I attempt to skip it the game instantly crashes. it took awhile to download because I regulaly use a lot of internet am I going to have to uninstal and reinstal what? if it matters while it was downloading it kept (and oftenly) would randomly pause the download and say something about an update and it no longer had a download option just a play. clicking play made it download again and randomly it'd pause again do the same thing. well recently it finished and now I can't even play it. I downloaded another tomb raider game just fine so not sure why this one was weird.

Wonderinf if there is an easy fix or...

So, I'm not the only one that crashes after the intro... Well, here's two options: Go to your library, and left click the game, then select properties, and go to the local files tab. Once there, click on verify integrity of game cache. If that doesn't work, read this discussion: http://steamcommunity.com/app/8000/discussions/0/810938082520805237/

Chances are that this is the old bug that triggers the "Data Execution Prevention" in Windows.

Right click on your "Computer" icon. Chose "Properties". Click "Advanced System Settings". Chose the "Advanced" tab. Click on "Settings" in the "Performance" section (don't ask me why they put it there). Chose the "Data Excecution Prevention" tab. Find your Tomb Raider Anniversary exe file and add it to the list of exceptions.
