Do you use the Magic Mouse?

I'm afraid CoD 4 and many other games cannot take advantage of the touch capabilities of this mouse. They were design for a classic mouse. I would suggest to try a classic mouse - it should work in parallel to your Magic Mouse.

I hope this helps.

I seem to be having mouse issues too, and I have a decent mouse (Zowie FK). If I zoom in the mouse goes nuts, otherwise it's OK. It's not a mouse issue, it's a game issue.

Did you install the software for the mouse? Sorry for stating the obvious, but you never know. Also, maybe too obvious, but what is the surface you play on? Optical/laser mice don't like certain surfaces (like glass for example).

I do play CoD 4 on a MacBook Pro with OSX Lion and I have no problems whatsoever. It is a Logitech G9 and have installed the appropriate software for it. I also used a Logitech MX518 in the past.

This is not a steam issue, btw. The game is the same whether in Steam or not.

I figured it out. It was SmoothMouse that was causing it. As soon as I disabled it and rebooted it's fine ;-)
