Good, but is not easy and looks much like Amnesia with weapons and killable foes.
Some people will find this hardcore game unenjoyable, but those who love Amnesia, Silent Hill and slow paced action games with riddles will enjoy this as well.

I played this full game about 3 years ago on a pretty much unmodern rig, had no lag or performance issues. IDK about Steam version.

Sounds Fantastic. Thank you. Appreciate it.

It's an underrated gameto say at least...the game is bugged to death but you'll find enjoyment in this game. For $3, how can you complain?

Yep, heard this is extrememly underrated. So I decided to buy it and try it.

This game worked pretty well on my pc, with everything max and 6950 as the video card. Only graphical problem that started to show up was when i set to renderer in 4.0, but at renderer 3.0 no problems were shown.

I thought this game was brilliant, it's flaws aside. You cannot find atmosphere this thick and haunting anywhere else.

An important heads up, in honor of the old steam forums going out of commision:
Turn everything up in the graphic options, and your machine will die, regardless of you rig - quote:
"Was having terrible performance on my system: 14-18 fps in many places. After some trial and error I've found that the biggest performance drain comes from a combination of high-detail (soft) shadows and anisotropic filtering. The soft shadows I get, but the fps loss due to anisotropic filtering really surprised me - have never seen it have a 10-15(!) fps impact on a game before.

The third biggest drain is the caustic water effect. Combining it with EITHER high-detail shadows or anisotropic filtering literally brings me from 45-60 fps down to 10-18 in most areas of the game."

Seems to be pretty good feedback so far. Purchased. Installing now. My first experince with these new Discussion Hubs. I logged on to check the forums for this game and was like....WTF?
Again. Thanks for the feedback.

Sveervoox please let us know how it turns out .. do the lag problems also exist in the real game ?

It's a great game, especially if it has the latest physx patch. It's one of the most physx intensive games ever. Pretty much like Amnesia, it will scare the♥♥♥♥♥♥out of you.

Real masterpiece!

Definetly worth $3. The gameplay can get repetitve, but it's fun if you like action horror games (Dead Space, FEAR). The best parts though are the atmosphere and story. It's basically a combination of the movies The Thing and Triangle.

@Focus - Will def. post my thoughts after I give it a whirl.
@JuJu - Hopefully we are talking the origianl "The Thing" and not the remake? Hah! ;)
