Why always Soviet and German?

There's a perfectly good other two factions (three, actually, with the patch) to play. Why do people always pick these two factions? I would much rather have a British force fighting a Japanese force, or something different and interesting. Although the UK and Japan are irritatingly under-powered against the three other ones.

Anyone fancy a multi game anyway?

Cause it is a lot easier to start the game considering how long it takes sometimes to start even a 4 Vs 4, since most players are familiar with the units of these two nations. I hosted ♥♥♥ Vs UK many times and been fun although I must say it can be frustrating playing Japanese if the rest of your team is not familiar with the army.

J A P is usually considered a swear word. Also, people might have the tendency for out of game preferences. Meaning, they migt tyhink Germany had great tanks (who doesn't want to play with (King)Tigers and Panthers?).

I play a totally different game as well (World of Tanks), where I do have some buddies who play pretty much only German or Russian tanks, but for some reason I practically never see anybody playing only Chinese, American, UK or French tanks. Well, at least to a lesser extend than German/Russian tanks (have seen some US only players I think).

since we're going off on a tangent... That's because the wonderful people at WoT decided to make Soviet and German tanks epic beasts (however, within that, Soviet tanks are always made to be BETTER than German tanks...), while the rest are left to be crap, for various reasons, but mostly the bias of the developers.

I can only play the single player Russian campaign. How do I unlock the other nations campaigns?

Play some more I'd say. You unlock the other campaigns, possibly after completing the Soviet campaign.
