Sound lag/ FPS lag

The game will always start of fine, except that during the loading screen before the game begins, the music always crackles a lottle bit, a hint at the problems to come.

When I have been playing for a minute or two, the sound will start to lag and 'crackle', for want of a better description, then along with it the video will start to lag.

I do not have a realtek sound card and the sound is fine when it is working.

Geforce GT 640 M.
On board sound card.

This is the only game i cannot play.

What Windows you have? Common issue the sound bug or no sound bug under Win7. There's a workaround to fix the sound in Control panel Sound settings. You need to set to Stereo mix at the Recording tab.

Aslo what kind of sound card you have? I have a few issues with RealTek, but now I use an ASUS Xonar DSX and no issue.

Windows 7, it's not the typical problem that everyone else is having. I have sound.

I'm having this same problem too (laggy, crackly sound). Did you ever figure out a solution?

Try to turn off EAX and reverb?

That helps a little bit. As in, the only glitchy laggy sound now is whenever there's sound - not just a constant interference. So thank you for that. Any other ideas?

Never figured it out no, i just stopped playing the game.
