Redirect to store page.

this is happening a lot more and more recently.
The game does not start up, instead i am redirected to the store page to buy the game, but it says "play now" and so i click and the page just refreshes.

I check the files and, there is no .EXE downloaded.

STEAM KEEPS REFUSING TO DOWNLOAD THE .EXE FOR MY GAMES!

verifing files just addresses the issue but never downloads the missing files.

Help anyone?

Getting the same problem. Newly downloaded the game, yet to actually get it to work. I've tried deleting and reinstalling.

I haven't even played it yet. I'm reinstalling it AGAIN.

Are you sure you're missing the exe? It should be in Steam\steamapps\common\Bioshock\Builds\Release

I'm having the exact same problem by the way. Except I also happen to have a retail version on hand, and -that- version works perfectly fine. |: |

AH! so it was hidden!
thank you, i found the .exe however, the same problem exists.

I bought it off of amazon and the only way to download is VIA steam key so, i essentially paid for a product that does not work.

Steam is still trying to help me but, with no avail.
