FOV or Field of View management
I bought this yesterday, as I couldn't wait any longer for it to go on sale. Been wanting to play this for years.

I do have the FOV lock option in my graphics menu.

I've added these commands to my USER.INI under the [Default] heading:

F10=SetFOV 90
F11=SetFOV 100

This has me wondering, what is the default FOV for this game? About 75? Also, what is the acceptable range of FOV values? Do I need to change these bindings under all the other headings as well?

Aside from the wonky mouse acceleration (which I think I fixed thanks to a sticky in these forums), the FOV is the next big annoyance I've bumped into. Hopefully, those commands will help me keep the motion sickness at bay.

OMG I need this... I've never been so motion sick in my life.... Trying to play this on an 1080p TV.... ready to puke.
Where do I find the USER.INI file?

This may be in a hidden folder:

C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Bioshock

If you can't find it immediately, start Windows Explorer; press ALT to display the Tools menu; select Folder options; select the View tab; uncheck the box next to Hide protected operating system files (Recommended).

You will likely want to re-check that box after editing the USER.INI file.

You may have to tell Windows to use Notepad to edit an INI file, if you've never done it before.
I found it thanks for the help!
Yeah, I think the game's default FOV is about 70 or 75. I don't think there's any limit to how high or low the FOV can go, though.

EDIT: Holy necromancy, Batman!
