bioshock 1 resolution problem
i am having a problem with changing the screen resoluton in game it crashes as soon as i apply
it and i have tried changing the default.ini fullscreenview thing so i dont know what is going on can anyone help

Hey, did you solve this problem? I started having the same issue, but what is strange...after couple of hours. I am running Bioshock with a Windows XP compatibility mode and everything was fine untill now. I havent changed anything about computer or software. Simply, one time the game has crashed and after then the rosolution is changed and I can't return back to 1080p because game crashes everetime I want to change the resolution. Odd...

hi. I think I found a fix. At first you run it in Vista SP3 compatibility mode because it lets you change the resolution. Then you change to XP SP2, as sound doesn't work in Vista comp. mode (don't ask me why). Hopefully this fix works for you too.

Well I changed the resolution slowly proceeding step by step 720p, 768p, 900p, 1050p then 1080p.
