Bioshock 1 and 2 Sale
I think it would increase the amount of people purchasing the first 2 which would only cause them to buy the new infinite. Think it would economically make steam and bethesda co-operatively more money as well as provide a wonderful service to their fans and members. So it's a win-win for everyone.

Why are you writing this here? If you want the games on sale you need to contact their developer (which I guess is Irrational Games)

I'm not sure why you think Bethesda would make money out of this though.

I meant to say 2k Games, not bethesda, and that's because steam doesn't buy their game right's outright, they pay to license it meaning steam makes a portion of the revenue with every sale and the rest goes to 2k Games.

I also thought Steam controlled when they did sales not 2k Games.

Nooooooooooooooooope. Why would anyone put their game on Steam if Steam could just "trolololol ima put your game on sale for 99% off for this month". Developers control when their games go on sale, Steam just encourages them to do so.

Well because they trust Steam, I mean Steam only gets a portion of the revenue anyways so if they lowered it, they would be lowering their revenue also. Just figured it was weird that if the game company were to choose why they wouldn't offer the same deals to all their gaming distribution companies, e.g. GamersGate, Green Man Gaming, Gamestop, Steam, etc... all have different deals so it made more sense for them to each be able to do their own sales to explain the difference in sales opposed to the gaming company giving each distribution company a different set of deals every in a while.

Those two games are always on sale during Steam sales, be patient, or spend a few dollars more and buy it now.

I'm relatively new but i was reading a post in the general discussion sections that says the next one won't be till summer or the spring indie sale (which wont have it cause they arent indie games). And i dont feel like waiting till summer...

Well, it's wait for the sale, or fork over the $20.00 now. They may pop up on a daily or weekend deal before then.

maybe amazon will have them both for 4.99 again this season.
it sucks to see a game you bought at full price featured in a sale.

Well i dont mind waiting for the sale assuming it'll be relatively soon aka sometime in april and i know it has the chance to be on the weekend/daily sale but i dont know the chance of that because like i said i'm relatively new and dont think i've ever seen them on sale in the time i've been here but i also read games typically go on sale near the release of a sequel but idk if that's true or not.
