How much will my enjoyment be affected by knowing spoilers? *SPOILERS*
Please keep your answers vague, but I've read a couple of things here and there about mind control and a revelation you're working for the villain, or something. Don't get specific and confirm anything. I'd just like to know if my experience playing this will be very reduced by knowing these things.

IMO they won't affect your enjoyment. It's a really great game. It's similar to reading a book that gets a movie adaptation. You may know what's going to happen but you still enjoy it because it's a totally different experience. Hearing spoilers and playing through the game yourself is completely different.

Well, in my opinion the story is the greatest part of the original BioShock, so I'd say quite a bit. I still recommend playing it though, especially if you plan on playing Infinite.

Oh and one more thing

Not really. While the story does make Bioshock awesome, it's the gameplay that's the main course of this buffet of an awesome game. The first time I played it, I knew fully well the spoilers and I still loved it. It's one of those rare games where both the story and gameplay are equally good and should not detract from your gaming experience.

Oh and one more thing:

SNAPE KILLS DUMBLEDORE.
