No Fullscreen and Sound on Win7 64 Bit
When i just start the game after installation the fullscreen crashes and the dosbox windows close afterwards.

This behaviour is solved when setting fullscreen to false in the DB config.

Now the game starts when having a window and after pressing a button on the keyboard after launching.

New problem is that there is no sound in game.

I tried changing the sound deviced of the soundblaster from sb1 to sbpro2 but no improvement. I raised the sample rates to 44100 Hz. But no luck.

What i also did was updating the DB to .74 and mounting the Iso and copying the xcom3 folder files into xcoma folder.

Somebody can help ?

ok found out how to make sound work. open the dosbox.config and in the last part where it targets the xcomapoca.exe change that to setup.exe and make the autodetect sound there, chage it back to the right exe afterwards. worked for me. Why i cannot have fullscreen i still dont know.

Have the same problem :skyesad:
(and I was really looking forward to playing Apocalypse again too)

By the way, anyone knows, if playing on fullscreen is impossible, can I somehow change game’s window’s size? I tried setting “windowresolution” to a custom value (which I think was supposed to do that), but it didn’t accomplish anything :skyesad:

fullscreen can be fishy, took me awhile too to getting it work properly but it is possible. (w7,64)
