Any way to allow trains drive through each other, and more questons
When 2 trains touch, one becomes see-through and the other drives past and the see-trough train becomes normal and then drives on,

However the thing is this limits the number of trains I can have, its crappy that my railway that goes all over North America has less than 200 trains, this is because if I add more the trains have to wait to let others pass and you lose money and there is no way to upgrade the track to more than 2 ways.

QUESTIONS AND SHORT VERSION
- Is there a mod that allows trains to drive through each other without 1 train having to stop
- Is there any way to automatically upgrade old trains
- Is there any way to buy the same upgrade to all my stations, (EG telephone lines come out, can you but telephone lines to every station)

Thanks

None of these things exist for RRT2P, sadly. RRT3 fixes some of them I think. The thing to do in RRT2 is to maxmize efficiency and consider building more main lines and using waypoints to direct trains onto them.

These are some of the reasons why so many of us love this game though, it requires in some cases deep thought on how to best lay your tracks, run your trains, double your track etc...

For the second question, you would not want to upgrade all of your trains to the same engine if playing as intended, some engines are fast on flat, while some do better on moderate grade than others and some do very poor 8-12 on very steep grades, but that is much better than a engine that costs twice as much but only does 2 MPH

third question: No it cant be done, but in many cases it may not make sense to spend the money to buy all the upgrades at each location. It helps to know how long the trains can run before they need sand, water, and repair

Yeah i get what your saing and I respect that, my cup of tea are games where you take a sort of macro approack where most of your thinking is going towards you overall grand stratagy, micromanagement is a little tedious for me, so I was just wondering.

You can also have more than 1 station per city. Eample: City A to City B with 2 stations inside of each city with 2 sets of double trck between ech = 2 stations each and 4 single tracks. I have done this sometimes so i can run high speed passenger on one set and use the other set for supplying manufacturing and then moving goods out. Even a tiny station next to say a Bakery just to supply it with grain to make food, when the food is made it can be moved by either station as long as both stations " cover " the bakery !

The only idea I can come up with, and bear in mind i'm still a "Freshie" On the Railroad series, would be to have a "Main Line", and have other rails connected, like branches. If you can, Maybe even try & build some "off rails", for specific types of trains that you need to be on time. of course, this could be VERY costly as well..

Those are my two ideas, sorry if they are crap though
