Valley of serpent bug - game freezes after victory

I can't seem to finish this mission. It's one of the northern expansion missions. After i kill the last lair. i get the victory popup and click on continue. But once i do that, the game just freezes with background music just playing. Anyone else got this problem or know a fix? It's pretty frustrating and the only thing that prevents me from ever doing the last 2 missions.

I got exactly the same problem now, only on this quest. Anyone has a clue how to fix this?

Where do I find my savegames? i'm having trouble finding them.

Go to your Windows Documents folder and look in this folder path MyGames\MajestyHD\SaveGame.

Hey, i'm resolve the problem.
1) Use cheat-code to win the map
2) Press "Continue playing"
3) Then play fair

I tracked down the bug to a signed vs. unsgined integer comparison in the victory screen. The game uses a timer based off the boot time of your computer and if you leave it on or even just 'sleep' it, the system timer value never resets and just grows and grows and can go 'negative' when compared to a 32-bit signed value. Try rebooting your computer, then load the save you gave me and see if it completes ok. This issue can affect other Quests that don't signal they have a victory location. I will post a fix soon.

Can confirm Dev's answer. Play it till nearly attacking last lair, save it, restart computer, load it and finish it and it works.

I had this happen to me, and it's a new day today so my computer was rebooted in the interim, but sadly it still doesn't work. I'll try wd-1's workaround. EDIT: That did not work for me from the save game I had just before the end of the game, maybe whatever bug causes this had already taken place by then. I'll try playing it again in full with this approach.

By the way, the save game I'm talking about was using two mods, Majestic Majesty 0.10 and Misc Settings, which I made sure to enable the same way every time I loaded it, as well. But I also played it through again without the Majestic Majesty 0.10 mod (still using the Misc Settings, but I doubt that would've causes an issue?), and I had the same problem.

EDIT AGAIN: So I tried it with the cheat code ("victory is mine") right at the start, and it still froze. This happened both with and without the mods—I checked to make sure.

Cyberlore Dev, if you're still around, I can provide you my save as well, although the one I have that's right before the victory is one that I had played using the two mods I mentioned. I can try and see if I have one with only the Misc Settings mod, if you like; I might have it as an autosave, or a manual save a bit further from the end, not sure.

EDIT 3: Oh, I only just now fully read and understood the boot time of the computer thing. Maybe it's been too long since my last boot, even though I did have a restart. I'll try rebooting and doing it right away.

EDIT 4: Yep, that worked! Just do it soon after the reboot. Sorry about that.
