Should i get this or hearts of iron III?
So i have 30 bucks just sitting around and i want to buy a game... And i am torn between Supreme ruler cold war and hearts of iron III... So i want to know what other people think.

hoi3... i played both and hoi3 is much better

I'd suggest trying the demo, the two games are quite different Some will prefer HoI3, others will prefer SR.

I love both games equally but I'd say get Hearts of Iron as it is easier to get in to. Plus there are some really annoyin things in Supreme Ruler's gameplay.

There is no comparison, HOI is a Rolls Royce to this Yugo of a game. The concepts and style are great, but the game is horrible and cluncky.

Based on your post in another thread I'm led to believe that your do not have version 7.3.1 which might well change your opinion of the game, or at least reduce some of your criticism.

Bah, supreme ruler is a good game. I have both games, and I think I played an hour of HOI and shut it off and haven't played it since. SUpreme ruler coldwar - especially with the most recent update has been vastly improved. and In my opinion a greater game.
