Counter Strike Source Style Offline Mode

I really only played CS:S offline, because I could set as many bots as I wanted and play any map. I also like the customization options we used to have for maps, and the bots. I really like CS:GO, I do, I think it's money well spent for me, but can Valve at least make the offline play a little better? You know, the ability to edit how many bot players on the server, and more maps would be excellent, as well as the abilty to play custom maps offline. I though Global Offensive was going to be an amazing remake of Counter Strike: Source, and it is good, but it failed to live up to it's predecessor. Which dissapoints me, Valve. You guys typically release sequels that blow the first games out of the water. What's going on in the Valve offices nowadays? You guys seem to be slacking slightly on some things.

Yea, I would like to see the old "create server" tab again. Sometimes I just want to play on a 16000$ server.

Awhile ago I posted a "how to" on adding bots.
But you have got a very valid point on maps.
BTW, you can change the settings in the gamemodes file in the CSGO directory, you can set the max players and start money, just don't change the map selections or GG values.

You can still do all these things with the console but I do miss the create server menu for LAN. It just feels like the menu is optimised for consoles like CoD. Except the new buy menu, that's great all around.

I like the new buy menu, I think it looks pretty slick. Nyan Dog, I'll check that how to out, before I play CSGO again, because I miss being able to put 10 bots to a team and then FSU lol

while we're making wishes for offline play, my hope would be to play like 2v10, set my bot teammate to follow my orders always and then just get him to hold position so i can run out and try pop the whole team or use him later if i need to

Not bad, I like that idea too. Now, I think there's a way set it up like using the bot commands in the console, but I don't know about making him always follow your orders

If he doesn't follow your orders, ♥♥♥♥♥ slap him, it always help!
