Help me?

So a friend gifted me the game cs:go (obviously) and when i try installing if via my gift inventory i keep getting the message that the code may have been used try again later, any advice what i should do?

he said he just bought it, and before we traded it wasnt in his inventory :/

Are you talking about a game key, or a case key? Game keys cannot be stored in inventories.

CS:GO is region locked. If your friend gifted it to you...and he lives in a different country, you can't use it. Like I said, talk to him.

Hes from Hong Kong, so that may be it. He is ok to trade something else and i return the csgo to him though, i think we have it sorted, thanks for your help :)
