its not a "get computer" stuff....did you played cities xl? with alienware you are screwed when you build more than 100 houses. Its not the PC if the engine of the game has flaws. why before the "update" everyone was happy with their updated PC-s, fresh windows 7, fresh driver updates and fresh install. They messed up with the engine of the game thats why...

corect, i have mine made by my hands and mind but its not my fault the game source engine has some flaws in it...i still have 70-100 fps but that means i dropped from 160-200 for what? i dont see anything.
PS: like i said - in citiesXL you will get laggy even with your best PC you make BECAUSE the dev. make that engine bad and to use only ONE CORE -> why do you think i have to put threads 8 in launch options? that shouldnt be neccesary really...even if we know to do that, it means some someone messed up with the code so we temp. "fix" it. Why before we didnt have to do this and now we do? Some point i thought some textured were changed that caused the fps drop...no, same textures same thing all game.

If I understand correctly CS:GO is heavily CPU dependent. The new patch somehow disables multi core support. So if you have a cpu with many cores but a low clock speed you are basically screwed.
