CSGO Windows 10 fix instantly closes UPDATE

***UPDATE***

In latest Nvidia Drivers 355.98 issue was fixed! :D
Right now everything (for me) working fine and i didnt find any error.

Latest Nvidia Drivers you can download from: http://www.geforce.com/drivers

Solution for those who are still stuck with the new driver:
1. Gain ownership of C:\WINDOWS\SYSWOW64\WBEM\FASTPROX.DLL and assign yourself Full control of the file if necessary.
2. Rename FASTPROX.DLL at this location to FASTPROX.DLLOLD

This one helped (actually you can rename the file to anything, but DLLOLD makes sense to find it later on)

Introduction

Hello.

Many people have problem on Windows 10. Game short time after launch ( usually less than 1 second) is closed without any errors logs.

I had this same problem in night. I spend 6hs on Nvidia Live Chat and waited for their help but nothing. They only suggest you to reinstall drivers or install Hotfix. NO, ITSNT WORK.
Changing anything in Control Panel didnt fix it tooo :)

Bug FIX

Its my way to fix this error:

For Nvidia users:

1. Uninstall currently Nvidia drivers for Windows 10 by using Display Driver Uninstaller - http://www.wagnardmobile.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=30
   
2. Extract archive (from link over) to any folder.
   
3. Turn on Display Driver Uninstaller.exe
   
4. Reboot into Safe Mode when program ask you for it.
   
5. Click button: Clean and restart (Highly Recommended) and wait. DDU will probably ask you about turn off auto updating device drivers - Confirmed this by positive button (i dont remember options there).
   
6. After restart download OLD drivers for Windows 7/8 (I used Nvidia drivers 347.25 for Windows 7).
   
7. Install downloaded drivers. Choose Custom (Advanced) install option and CHECK "Perform a clean installation" (important when reinstalling drivers).
   
8. When install finished restart your PC :)

How to Turn OFF Windows auto update device drivers

I suggest to TURN OFF this options because Windows 10 auto check and update all drivers after restart/shut down PC and then replace old drivers with latest (bugged).

1. Tap Windows + Break
   
2. Click on "Advance system settings"
   
3. Go To "Hardware" tab and click on "Device Installation Settings"
   
4. Check like on screen :)

   Dont forget UNCHECK "Automatically get the device app and info provided by your device manufacturer."

IMPORTANT - How to Hide Nvidia drivers update by Windows

1. Download "Show or hide updates" troubleshooter package
   http://download.microsoft.com/download/F/2/2/F22D5FDB-59CD-4275-8C95-1BE17BF70B21/wushowhide.diagcab
   
2. Open file by Diagnostics Troubleshooting Wizard (will be set as default)
   
3. In Show or hide updates window click next and choose "Hide updates" option.
   
4. From list check Nvidia drivers for your graphics card model and click next.
   
5. After just close program - "Close the troubleshooter".

With this package you will hide auto update Nvidia drivers by Windows.
This will remove annoying updating Nvidia drivers every restart PC / Updating OS.

I think its will help you everyone who have this driver bug :D
