so recently i have been playing csgo with 60-70 fps now the game only runs at 40. why is this

M4A1-S - how much worse now?

According to patchnotes:

– M4A1-S:
— Reduced price
— Reduced armor penetration
— Reduced ROF
— Increased base spread

I would know about the exact values. It sounds like the new M4 - S is inferior to the M4 counterpart, since the only better thing it will offer is the silencer, but getting only 20 bullets in a magazine is pretty bad thing if that nerf is so bad.

I mean the only thing the M4A1-S will be better than M4A4 is the silencer. That is sad

So if we make a conclusion that patch was fine and really good except 2 things:

1). Overly strong nerf to M4A1-S
2). Defuse animation

To 1). I will say this nerf is too strong. The S version was better than normal version in many aspects like: less recoil, higher precision, same ROF and penetration and Silencer, while having disadvantage in ammo.

Now they nerfed it too strong, which means: same recoil, same precision, worse ROF, worse penetration and still the same disadvantage in ammo.

I make a table which compares them:

the only advantage M4A1S has is the silencer, which won't make up for all the new disadvantages, since it was more picked for its precision, and since now silencer has same precision all those disadvantages like 20 ammo or lower ROF and Penetration (WHY?) come to shine.

To 2). It looks ugly. But it can probably get better, but still, it needs to be fixed

yea, now S is useless - so fin slow that you shoulb't consider it over am standard m4a4. OFC they will reverse this change back but we'll ahve to wait 1 month or even longer -.-

Huge FPS drop after new update

So normally I am having a 110 FPS playing this game.


After the update my FPS has been dropped to 30. This is horrible Valve.

I wonder what I should now?

the m4a4 acts like older cs m4a1, the m4a1-s in go is just something new, so nerfing it wouldnt be much problem since we never had something like that before
