Smurfs.
Can we all say that smurfing makes the game worse. And that someone should make the game so where that the same ip that logs into csgo with a different account could not play competitve? I know my grammar might suck but I am just deranking down to silver 4 just cause I am playing against MGE and LE and above when I used to be gold nova 3. I am just saying that we should do that. Even though I smurf too but the ranks on either of my accounts are the same. And I don't do it to get an advantage. I do it when I get banned because my internet went out. But I got new internet and wouldn't be using the alt account since I am no longer getting banned because my internet goes off. Either please make it an overwatch thing or just something no one can do. Thank you and please post your opinions. I want to read them! :) Thank you!

smurfing makes the game worse. but it's needed for players for improve their skill, me getting killed countless time by a gold nova or dmg or something will improve my skill because i get to see their playstyle and how they do things, which in turn will improve my playstyle

But if you want to improve your play style you don't need to be playing against people that ar e5 ranks above you. Most people learn a lot of stuff from professional players.and by getting killed countless times by someone 5 ranks above you wont really help you or your rank. That is why you usually play against people your rank and learn about their style and when you rank up to a higher rank then you can learn their play style.

well, i don't have much of a challenge in silvers, unless i'm fighting against a. higher ranks b. unranked players who haven't got in their correct skill groups yet. people in my skill group *silver 4* are incredibly easy to kill, i can just p90 rush.

Then do that. The thing you do in sliver is use the p90 until gn and then use other guns.

Well, if they are easy to kill, kill them and rank up.

the thing is, winning matches against people who are the same rank or lower as you, barely give you any rank up points, while winning against higher ranks give you alot of these rank up points, so i can't farm the easy kills and expect a rankup

Well if you win 5 or 6 in a row, you'll get a lot, If these people are "easy kills" then you should finish games faster, allowing oyu to in turn rank up.

yeah, it just depends on who i get matched against, sometimes i suck, sometimes i do good, just depends on who i'm fighting, seeing as there's the smurfs in silver, unranked, higher ranked. not any hackers as far as i can see. you gotta win them in a row which is what messes me up most of the time, sometimes i lose horribly. lol

Get a grip. You can easily improve in this game without playing agaisnt smurfs, I went to MGE solo by practicing my aim and watching replays with professionals.
dang i'm posting alot tonight. oh yes i have a grip, i was exaggurating on the amount of smurfs, because i've been winning a lot of my games lately, i was just giving an example of how smurfs are useful. and i've been practicing my aim as well. but oh well i accept your opinion because it's actually a good one.

Well that was hard to read, and I could barely decipher what you meant by that, but I think you are saying you can't rank up, because of smurfs in the silvers, which brings us back to the issue.

Smurfs are not useful, as they suck the fun and the competition out of the matchmaking system, especially the new players.

Seriously, stop these excuses, there is no excuse when it comes to intentionally ruining the game for new players, whether its griefing, hacking or smurfing.

Agreed

i dislike smurfs, and i know they suck the fun out of the competition, there's no excuse, but it is legal to smurf so we're just gonna have to live with it. and i don't think it will be fixed seeing as not enough people care, and the ones who do, compared to the people who smurf themselves. i'd say the smurfs outnumber the people who care. this probably makes no sense, sorry.
