I really want to get this game, but im not so sure.

The game is good and the cost it has it covers your purchase pretty fast. This is one of the few games people really play for hundres of hours, but you can devote how much you can.

It's not quite on the Arma level of strategic, but it's more strategic than COD or Battlefield.

It's the best multiplayer FPS you can buy imo. I play this more than I play any other shooter. It offers more playability and more fun in my opinion than any COD or BF could, and to top it off it's only $15! It's an absolute must for anyone who likes a challenging, fun, addicting multiplayer shooter.

What is the problem? This game will eat away your free time that a person with a low income could use to get an education, succeed in life, and get a good job. If you are rich, play this game to your heart's content. But if you are low on cash, dont waste your time playing csgo. Make money to survive. Just giving moral advice. he can choose to take it or leave it.

It's not worth it, the game is unbalanced in many ways.
Undetected hacks get developed on a daily basis many people using esp's and hookmods in competitive modes.

Besides the game's true intention was to be a tactical team game.
But the average player has the social skills of the average 10 year old.
Even in this game people will yell LOL! no scope 360! REKT!REKT!

Getting back to the hacking the game is only 13,99 so many people cba when they get a VAC ban the game is cheap they'll easily buy a new key and hack again.

So to give a honest and true answer to your question no it's not worth buying the game.
If you want a fun tactical schooter try the Ghost recon phantoms it's f2p and it's quite fun.

Or play Battle field I've never played it my self but I assume it requires some tactical thinking if you want to win a match with 64 people in it.

it can be annoying to play solo Matchmaking but with friends you never walk alone

So let him later waste more money on your typical cod or battlefield and still an average FPS player. At least he should learn all the basics and some advanced stuff in cs, then that knowledge will carry on to other fps games :)
