why did valve make cs go this way

ct camps at defends bomb sites
t camps near hostages defends the hostages
It just makes the game boring if you are just going to camp defend as a CT/T
And just wait for others to attack you, its like waiting for a kill or waiting to die.

As I said go back to col o doodie because you clearly don't understand how cs works. I'm guessing this is the first cs game you're playing, you just bought it thinking it's a new cool ow doodie game and you just got dissapointed.

Assuming you refer to Gabe Newell, CEO Valve Inc. He did not make CSGO since it was develooped contractually with Hidden Path under Valve. In fact Mr. Newell didn't make CS nor CS: Source either, and aside from his overarching responsibility in the company, most certainly had no direct input in the design OR development whatsoever.

The covering sites/hostages/particular directions is key strategy in the CounterStrike franchise and has been a staple since it's early beginnings. One is free to play how one wishes (cheating etc. notwithstanding) however, do not be too suprised if fellow teammates are dissatisfied with any failing to support the team effort.

Sadly most people just call Call of Duty a bad casual game and compared to Call of Duty 4 promod.. well, is TF2 for example a casualgame. Just saying. Indeed Ghosts was incredible bad for hardware eating and stuff, but most people aren't even good at this game.
