Well you need to focus on you crosshair placement as well that probably the most important thing..

I play a lot of MM and have like 200 hours, I find in order to be a good player, learn the maps and cheeky ways to sneak around the enemies like sneaking up boost as CT to destroy an a rush on cache, however Crosshairs placement, spray control and Game sense are the best way to get out of silver and into gold Nova
(PS SEM after 50 wins...)
What you wanna learn around your rank...

Silver=Map Knowledge (smokes flashes and cheeky spots) and Game sense
GN-MG=Aim and Spray Control, good frame rates and resolutions are key as it's very difficult to hit shots at 640x480 or 30 fps... aim for 80 minimum, 300 is the best...
MG-LEM=Learn Every nook and cranny of maps (unfamiliar hiding spots to get ez frags as well as the Meta game like when the enemy may rush B or do a slow A and reading how your opponents play)
LEM-GE=Become god himself as I have no clue

LOL ! A nova and silver have no idea what game sense is , they have no aim and crosshair placement is non existent , they spray like idiots and only flash and smoke themselves

It is not hard , it sometimes takes a bit longer to rank from one class to another but you only need to win some games against a team with MG players and you will rank .

MG is a low rank and only the basics is needed to compete .

Actually that's the area known as S3-S1... I know plenty of S4-Nova's with good game sense and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Aim or good aim and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game sense. They just tend not to have both... I do know a few Novas I played with that are great players, game sense and aim... they've ranked rather quick too... Silver in general doesn't mean trash, the higher portion of silver is very different than the lower... speaking of MG+ when I was in the rank S3, I befriended a lot of top fraggers to help me and a lot of them were smurfs, mainly consisting around LE-MG1... a few of them even showed me their mains rank to prove it...

Dude, the reason I'm still SEM is at least 2 of my team mates if not more are incompetent... I myself top-frag often while Solo-queuing but I generally lose due to leaving a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ player to watch a site or what not...

you're SEM because you don't have the actual raw skills to get out of SEM.
I can 1v5 SEM and get 16-13 or 16-14 easily, forget teammates.
Until you can 1v5 SEM consistently, you don't deserve to leave SEM.
