I'm purchasing a Gaming PC with windows 8 installed, will it work with steam well enough?
I have no choice to change it for now but once I have handed to me. Will I be able to play games like SKYRIM Legendary edition (my first PC game) on it? Will it run as expected?

If so, there's another question I really need answered. If Skyrim runs fine, will I be able to put mods in it just like how windows 7 would do (E.g, i download a mod and i be able to extract it to the same place?- skyrimdictionary/main folder/texture/---Not accurate but you know...). One last question that also need some tending is that can the Nexus mod manager work well with W8? It is compatible?
I just need to know if windows 8 is fine, if not. Then, i guess I'll just uninstall it and purchase windows 7 to install which i really don't want to do as i heard it can be a danger if you don't know your BIOs.

(If my english sucks, it's because I'm rushing.)

Windows 8 is kind of iffy, for most part yes you should be good, but some games made before windows 8, may have problems

Yes, windows 8 is almost identically similar too 7 other than the metro screen.
We need to know your PC specs in order to see it it will be able to run skyrim.

most games that work on win7 will work on win8

win8 is slightly better for games than win7

if you dont like the metro ui, you can mod it to look like win7

Cooler Master HAF 912 Plus, Black Mid Tower Performance Gaming Case

ULTRA DURABLE MOTHERBOARD - GIGABYTE GA-Z77-D3H WITH SLI/ATI CROSSFIRE -OVERCLOCKABLE

Intel® Core™ i7-3770K / 3.5GHz QUAD CORE 8MB CACHE UP TO3.90GHz

EVGA NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 660 SUPERCLOCKED Graphics WITH 2 GB GDDR5

Some reason, my RAM not showing on the page but it's definitely 16GB.

Anyway, I have a few softwaresto make my... components more efficient for over-clocking and such.

Are these components good or do I need to select something else?

That will do just fine, you'd get around 60-70fps running completely maxed out according to some benchmarks.
Windows 8 has the same compatability as Windows 7, if 7 can't run it 8 can't so you should be fine there.
