GUI Vanishes after about 30 seconds!!!

I just bought the game on Steam this evening along with all the DLC. It finished downloading and installing and I ran the game. But after about 30 seconds, all the options on the main menu disappear. Before that happens, I noticed some random letters are missing from words in the loading screens. If I start a new game, I can see for one second and then the game crashes back to Steam.

I have no mods installed at all!
I already Verified integrity in steam.
I have Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and High Res Texture Pack DLCs

I know for a fact that I can run this game. Also, the auto-detect for the settings defaults the game to "High Quality". If you need any information, just ask.

Specs:
Windows 8 (64-bit) Consumer Preview Build 8250 (This might be the problem)
Processor: AMD Phenom II X2 550 Processor 3.10 GHz
Graphics Card: Radeon HD 5750
RAM: 4.00 GB



Examples of some of my problems:
-I launch the game, Bethesda Logo appears, main menu loads, I scroll through the options. I get down to "QUIT" and the "U" vanishes. it looks like "Q IT". After about 30 seconds, all the options vanish.

-I start a new game before the menu vanishes and it crashes as soon as it loads.
