whiterun crashes

i already played through skyrim once and doing so an a different account. but for some reason on the new account everytime i fast travel to whiterun. i crash out. i have fast traveled to house/dragonreach and main gate and it crashes. i even traveled to the stable and ran to main gate and it crashed. is there anyway to fix this?

delete your INI files in documents\my games\skyrim i had the same problem with windhelm i fast travel to there or the stables it crashed. deleted them and let the game rebuild the default ones and i can fast travel there now.

INI files? im in documents/my games/skyrim and i dont see naything like that

all i see is

RendererInfo
Skyrim
SkyrimPrefs

you have hide extentions for known file types on thats why you don't see skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs.ini

just try to see ur grafic card aswell maybe that could help?

One thing I see not addressed and asked: Do you have any MODS installed? If so, try disable and see if that fixes the problem.

I'm having the exact same problem. Tried deleting the INI files, and it didn't work. I disabled all mods, but still, nothing.
