how large do you think the next game will be?
well its only a matter of time before 6 is announced or released. but the big question i have is how big will the game be?

we can probobly expect the next gen of consoles to be out which means more space and the current graphics we have with the high res texture pack are perfect and i cant see them getting any better(at least not in a way that would seem fitting to the series like picture realistic)

i would probobly guess that the next game would be 2 provinces,(hopes for cyrodiil and morrowind) probobly not more but maybe with DLC or an expansion pack more or parts of other provinces could be added.

so how large do you think the next game would be, and what provinces you would like to be in it

There are generally at least 4 years between TES games, so it's going to be a while.

Depends on the next gen of consoles, as you say, and any other tech advances between now and then. Don't think they'll go back to Cyrodill and Morrowind, but I wouldn't have guessed we'd have a Morrowind themed Solstheim DLC either... we'll see.

Something new and different would be nice.

My guess is the next TES game will be set in a location that can further the Thalmor plotline, that seems like too big of story to drop. Personally, I would like to visit Elsweyr.

still though it would be nice to have a return to cyrodill, i just love how the regieon is structured and the imperial city, it would be cool to see how its changed in at least 200 years.

and as far as next gen consoles go we can probobly expect a lot more content with microsoft adopting blue-ray tech in xbox(or at least they will if they have half a brain) so we can at least make some guesses for the next game based on that

What if... we got to explore Akavir?

I just hope that TES Online doesn't kill the singleplayer franchise the way WoW killed its own.
As for TES: VI I would like to see it titled Hammerfell, and the province should be about 20-25 square miles.
Chances are we will see a Fallout 4 in a year or two, and the next TES game a couple of years later.

I wouldn't mind either as long as it's not as repetative as Oblivion (imho). It's possible, too. Someplace we haven't been already would be good though. Love to see Elsewyr & Black Marsh - but I think Bethesda might view that as too risky, making the primary races Argonians & Khajiit.

Deserts, jungles and swamplands would be a nice change of pace from frozen Skyrim and the samey countryside of Oblivion.

Akavir would be both bizarre and awesome :) Love to see the Tsaesci in action.

The only provinces that haven't been in an Elder Scrolls game (not counting Arena) are Black Marsh, Elsweyr, Valenwood, Summerset Isles, and the mainland of Morrowind. If the next game isn't going to focus on the Thalmor, I would like to see Black Marsh and possibly the mainland of Morrowind.

Unless all or most of the provinces are in one game, Cyrodiil won't be reappearing anytime soon. Oblivion is still a relatively new game in the series.

Akavir would be... well... interesting. The problem is that none of the races of Tamriel are there (as far as I know). A lot of new lore would have to be created as well, including books.

It's pretty unlikely that we would have Cyrodiil and Morrowind in one game. Not only have we already had Cyrodiil and Vvardenfell already but the shape of the map would be pretty weird.

It would make much more sense that we have a place we haven't been yet (not including Arena and Daggerfall) which leaves High Rock, Hammerfell, Alinor, Valenwood, Elseweyr and Black Marsh. High Rock and Black Marsh seem the most unlikely of that lot seeing as the former is supposedly like Cyrodiil and the latter doesn't seem to have much solid ground.

If the next game is Elsweyr or Alinor (what I feel are the most likely places) then it is possible that they will change the scale of the games this time around. TES III, IV and V were all scaled so that they actually matched each other according to the map of Tamriel. This time (seeing as the next few places are smaller) they might up the scale this time. Hopefully this will result in larger cities. Skyrim felt a bit small there though Oblivion with Better Cities installed felt good.
