No he can't. He is an old man, he can probably barely move.
Well I think Oblivions main quest was better since it took more time to complete and actually required some real progression. The side quest in Oblivion though were great, they were pretty lengthy and did require some progression to complete, although not as much as Morrowind. I honestly, have never even beaten Morrowinds main quest despite playing it so much, it just has so much stuff in that I get side tracked quickly.
But I found fighting dragons to be more fun and rewarding than closing the oblivion gates. long before the end of the main quest I was sick of those gates and the whole process of tower climbing and oblivion navigating just to close one gate.
Each game has had some big hits and some big misses. I still find to this day that Morrowind has a more compelling plot. While Oblivion's big reveal from Mankar was more shocking. Skyrim never even had that big reveal within the plot. Just BOOM you're dragonborn, go kick some dragons' ass. Oh and here's some legendary shouts you'll rarely ever use because you're too badass to be bothered. Overall, gameplay has definately improved from game to game. I cant wait for the plot to catch up.
I use to use the console collision command to levitate my way up to the top of those oblivion gate towers. I did close a few gates and the great gate without using the console command, but once you've closed one gate, you've closed them all.
It hasn't been that long since I played skyrim, yet the only quest I can really remember without thinking too hard is the search of the redguard woman in whiterun. As opposed to Oblivion, which I only made a playthrough ages ago, and still remember quests like "whodunit", Valen Dreth, the living painting, the ring in the well, the grey prince's ancestry, the manhunting orc, etc.
It was the great quality of the oblivion's sidequest that actually made me preorder Skyrim in the first place, and honestly, I kinda regret doing that now after seing the drop in quality. I don't regret buying it, just not at full price. Whenever the next elder scrolls is released, I will likely wait a bit for a drop in price, unless the word of mouth says the side quests have improved.
If anyone here loved skyrim, but have yet to try Oblivion, I urge you to give it a try.
