Dawngaurd Silence
Nothing has been said by Steam OR Bethesda. So puzzled, and dying to hear SOMETHING.
If anyone has heard anything new please share.

You're talking about the DLC Dawnguard. Its already been released

I speak about the dowload that went out that gave many people the DLC for free. Search the forums or online and you'll find something about it.

I figured you probably weren't, but the post didn't really say anything too specific so I didn't want to assume.

Thank goodness I'm not the only one who was wondering about that. I just loaded up Skyrim to mess around with something, saw Dawnguard in my data files, and have been playing since, haha.

Whatever it is, I like it :D

Not complaining, just really curious as to why neither corp has made a peep about it.

Well can't you see? Obviously everyone is forgetting about it. The first day thousands talked about it, the next week, hundreds. Now? 10 people maybe... they know this and just hope for silence of the public and it's working. So.... gg

I've deleted the bloody files since the store says I don't own the DLC and stopped thinking about it. They should have issued an official statment regarding the "Dawnguard incident" since I am sure both Steam and Bethesda are perfectly aware of it. But they didn't which kind of worries me a bit and casts a bit of shadow over my positive thoughts on the Steam's bright future.

Maybe they think it's better not mentioning at all. Understandable. Because if they decide to say one or two things about it, what can be said? "It was a mistake. Oopsie." That's it. What else could they say? "Delete the files or I'll find you and I'll kill you?" No. They can't say that.

I wanted Bethesda's official statement on this, but I'd given up. Whatever, Bethesda. Thank you for your mistake.
If you were hacked , would you make a big deal about it? I am not saying there were, but leaving it up in the air like that can lead to almost any conjecture.

Ah good, I'm glad, I was just going to go on the forums and see if anyone else got it. A free DLC is nice tho I guess :P
