Is this game worth 30 bucks? *BOUGHT*
EDIT: I will not delte this thread just incase if someone in the near future will want to buy this game.

If I buy this game, then for the 30 bucks I spent for it, will I be satisfied to the extent that I will put 100's hours of entertainment and 100's of hours of adventure into it? Or will I be bored to the extent that I will end up only going back to using my crummy sock?

Yes it is even vanilla. extended playing over 400+ hours would be more modding. :P

How on earth can other tell you what you will feel?

I am not trying to be cruel, but only YOU can answer your questions, and that is AFTER you have tried or olayd the game for some time.

If you know what RPG is about (No, it is not an action game, it is more a life simulator) then should also know that this game is rated as one of the best....but even so millions don't like it....millions will never touch it..and many many millions love it!

U know, people always ask if it's worth it. It all depends on you, the buyer, about what you loike to play. I think the game is great to play. I have over 3000 hrs playing time.

Hell yes. 52 hours shy of hitting 4000 hours played

Get the legendary edition..or even better, the collection there selling in stores includes morrowind and oblivion also with all expansion packs. This series is a very good rpg series on pc.

UPDATE: I meant the anthology. For some reason, i called it a collection..my bad.

Play the other TES games forst, then come into Skyrim and instantly be able to play with immersion, as you played the previous Elder Scrolls Entries before... Their cheaper, if you like them, you'll likely love this.

Grab the Elder Scrolls Anthrology, the packaging looks astounding, and it comes with every single TES game and expansions (i believe Morrowind-Skyrim comes with a code to activate on steam) the first two... they're free on the Bethesda website, and i don't think they are optimized for Win. 7 very well (1994 for Arena and 1996 for Daggerfall).

Yeah. I have agree with Mccauley, he anthology edition is pretty sweet, GOTY of every elder scrolls to date. Great for collectors and new comers who dislike jumping in the middle of a story.

Do your self a favor and get the anthology if you still can, I have it and love it.

game is way too repetitive. It's not 100 hrs, but rather the same 30 minutes, over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.

Depends which version you want. If you wish just to try skyrim, buy legendary. If you want to try the other games in the series, buy the anthology. I actually liked morrowind alot, from personal experience.
