I'm really growing tired of the influx of these lore friendly mods that are literally just reskins of existing meshes. Though there are plenty of extremely intuitive mods on the Nexus and Workshop, they're superceded by the stuff you could find with Oblivion modding.
What I mostly mean is that the majority of the armour, clothing, or weapon modifications, even some of the top rated ones on both sites, are either retextures, very slight changes to original meshes, or playing it just way too safe. I liked the flair of Oblivion modding, even with its overwhelming neckbeardium and kawaiifeggotry. I liked the armours, weapons, anims, locales, and quests that would come from Oblivion. Some were pretty mind boggling in scope and creativity. But not with Skyrim. The game is already two years old, anyway.
Again, some exceptions, like Moonpath, etc.
