Black Marsh
Im currently making black marsh using the creation kit in Skyrim, im plannign to have the area roughly the size of Solestiem and with 16 + dungeons and areas, with new characters, weapons and more!

Only thing is, I don't want to pour my life into it if no one wants to play it, so what would be helpful is if a handful of people could take maybe 5 mins out of their day and give me a few things? :)

1) rating out of 10 - 10 = would download/ 0 = wouldn't download WTF is this ♥♥♥♥!?
2) why you would like it (lore, items, etc.)
3) lastly, any ideas you may have about layout/areas,items,etc. - no questline suggestions please as I already have one planned out! :)

Eventually yes, but that may be FAR in the future, at this rate I will be done in about 6 months

10+ would download! i really have been craving a mod that would allow my argonian character to return to his home, also after jaysus swords added argonian blades ive really been wanting argonian armor that is lore friendly and doesnt look like just a modified skyrim armor (maybe a slaughterfish scale base would be good)

It might be an idea to only make a certion area of Black Marsh, as having it about as large as Solstheim is pushing it.

Saxheel is a xenophobic faction that believes in wiping out non-argonians and wiped out all of Black Marshs non native residents when they took control

Making all blackmarsh will end up being a too huge work for one person that will never end or be too small to be realistic.

I'd like the mod to be really strict to lore (like moonpath). So i'd suggest you to make a portion of blackmarsh, study the lore and make an handfull of lore friendly quests, and a good amount of exploration.

Wouldn't be bad if you could make it so you have to start a new argonian char in your mod, that would be completly separated to Skyrim, and is not the dragonborn but a simple argonian folk. Bringing a dragonborn outside skyrim is always risky has it has tons of equipment and spells. If you make it so you have to start a new char in your mod, we would be forced to use basic equipment. The unique equipment found in quests will be a reward and not another stuff to toss in a chest in the glorious skyrim player owned mansions.

If you shrink all blackmarsh into solstheim size you are making something really lore-unfriendly since it's way bigger than that. My 2 cents are that if you want people interested in your mod you should make something lorefriendly that feels fresh.

Adding another area that pretends to be blackmarsh but is not with yet another exploration and yet another quests for the dragonborn, that are also lore unfriendly, you are pushing on what the game already gives.

Make a little pearl that's focused heavy on a fresh concept, ideas first, programming after. Look at mods that have done what you are trying to do with great success (moonpath).

If you ask feedback be ready to change what you have done.

My feedback is: Blackmarsh shrinked into Solstheim with some lore unfriendly quests with the only difference that NPC are Argonians = not interested won't download.

oh don't worry, it's not shrunk down, it's mainly a part of black marsh - I can't really go into more detail with revealing the storyline though, sorry!

EDIT

Also I this mod is targeted at level 50 +, since I found skyrim got really easy past about 45 - so there are plenty of challanging puzzles and enemies to fight, most of them have a special attribute

cant wait man i always play as an argonian (and i am a little sore at the fact that darkeethus is the only follower and you have to kill him if you want to finish a dark brotherhood contract)

If you can make it, I'd love to try it out. Reminds me of Moonpath to Elsewyr, so if that's sort of what you're going for then I say by all means do it.
