Looking for some help with the Creation Kit
Hello all. I've been trying to modify the backroom in Lakeview Manor by removing the existing furniture and adding the General Displays racks, so that I can display my Dragon Priest Masks and the like. So, I've been able to create what I want and save it. Thing is, when I load the mod, nothing shows up in the backroom. I've disabled all of the mods I have that are not associated with either Skyrim or the General Displays mod and my created mod. I've tried the COC in the control panel as well, and it never takes me to my modified cell. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong and would love some help on this topic. Thanks everyone.

Are you checking 'Hearthfires esm' as well as 'Skyrim' in the loading window?...You then have to check your mod too AND set it as 'active file'.

You done that? (Lakeview Manor is Hearthfires, isn't it)...

The files I have checked are:

General Displays (DB - DG)

I then select the file I'm modding, set it as active and do what I want to do. When I'm done, I save, load the .emp through the Skyrim login (Data) and it never works. All mods I download from Steam or Nexus work, mine doesn't....

If it's possible, I would love some advice on how to modify the Lakeview Manor cells, since that's what I'm working with.
Have you inserted the code in the Skyrim Editor.ini file?...

If not, go to section 3 of this headder in this link: (under ''creation kit crashes?'')

Scroll down and you'll see that we've got teh explanation there for you to copy in. Don't copy/paste as it is constructed in the discussion thread, type it properly yourself....
(I hope that works for you!)
