Question regarding texture resolution
I am currently in the process of putting together a higher rez eye pack.
My old ones were specifically made for steam here, and were the vanilla eye texture size.
The new ones made, are 1024 x 1024 versus the old 128 x 128 <-----vanilla eye texture size.
Normally, I have seen the higher rez eyes at 512 x 512 on other sites.
Will the 1024 x 1024 ones I made work in the CK and in game and not act up from the larger size? I know first hand how buggy the CK can be...

Why don't you try it and test it out? And no, there really shouldn't be any problem as only problem with textures is how much ram do you have.

Anybody know what the size is for the HD Texture DLC on Steam?
http://store.steampowered.com/app/202485/

^ If it's not greater than what this free official DLC offers, I'd say you'd be wasting your time.

The eye textures in the dlc are not 1024 x 1024, pretty sure that they are 512 x 512 if there are HD eye textures in the DLC at all. Plus they don't glow like mine :P ( well the vampire ones do)
Well, anyhow, I did a small test, they do work in game, but the CK throws a fit and crashes a lot with them, so I have to save quite a bit so I don't lose any construction progress in the CK.

Oh oh, I have a question. I mooded dawnguard male vampiric eyes onto my custom race, it comes with glow layer and all and it doesn't glow ingame. Do you possibly have any idea why?

Yeah, in the CK go into the line in the texture set ist that says DLC. Then scroll down to serana's eye set, mod over that. Then go up to head parts and select human nord vampire eyes, can be either 0 or 1, and put over your created textures from the selection menu on the right over that meshes set. Then it will glow in game.

Are you using any ENB? Some of them disable the eye glow.
Profanum+ 10 Σεπ, 2013 @ 9:42μμ
Well, back to my topic, I now have 224 eyes to distribute to males and females. All are placed in the mod, just have to assign them all to the genders now. All are 1024 x 1024, glow, and half are dark/evil looking, while the other half is more along the lines of "normal" looking. Couldnt think of a name for the mod, so atm I am calling it EFEEBR,lol. "Eyes for everyone except beast races"... :P

Yeap, im using ENB, however all other NPC's have eye glow, and my characters eyes didn't glow even before using an enb so im sure thats not the case. I don't know what else to do :<

If you can think of a better name let me know. I already made "eyes for elves" and "the vision center of skyrim", as well as a handful of other ones. I was doing an orc eye mod, but scrapped it... So then I made these. And they are eyes for everyone except for beast races. I am tired and out of ideas. lol

Did you make a _g.dds (glowmap) to go along with your new eyes? You will need to make one. That might be the issue. All black except where the eye color is, make that all grey darken it a bit so it is not blinding like headlights, and that should do it.
