SKSE, SkyUI and SXP HELP PLZ

OK i have installed NMM and used it to install SKSE Patcher for steam. I then used NMM to instal SkyUI but every time i launch the game i get SkyUI Error 1. basicly saying that SkyUI wount run because SKSE isnt running. I tryed launching through SKSE and i dont get the chance to slect any mods to run. how do i get SKSE to run with NMM?

You need to extract skse into your skyrim folder, its not running because you probably didn't do that.

I'm not sure but I think you're supposed to install SKSE manually. SkyUI should install through NMM just fine.

Then when you use SKSE, you want to right-click on it and Run as Administrator.

See if that helps.

Also, it's true that there is no mod menu in SKSE. You are to use the Plugins menu in NMM for that.

ok i have SKSE installed. Now how do i get the mod in NMM to run with SKSE? Dont i need to alunch the game with NMM if i want to use the mad i have installed with NMM?

Aaaah I uderstand your problem. Where you see launch skyrim button in NMM, well, click on arrow next to that and go to launch skse.

And in future you will either navigate to skse.exe file which is located in your skyrim folder or you will turn on nmm and click "start via skse"

Yes you have to launch Skyrim with SKSE.exe not with the Skyrim launcher,make a short-cut to launch from desktop.Use Steam and Nexus mod manager to download your mods, but run Skyrim through SKSE.exe.Sky UI rocks.

I have skse installed and I'm launching it from a desk Icon . I followed gothers vid tutorial on you tub. I do have one things wrong,my screen is 1 inch shorter. Anyone have any ideas on how too fix that?

That mod called SXP is still in it's infancy stages of mod development. I would be wary of using it for a new "dedicated" character as it could completely screwup the leveling system [harder/easier] at high levels. Although, using it on a "throw away" character [a character you don't plan on using in the long term], is probably best until SXP matures into a proven mod.

However, I do very much like the concept; as I am also a fan of the OblivionXP mod.
I do hope SXP turns into a viable mod.

Thats problem with yxour skyrim or desktop resolution, no skse.

Although there is a SKSE installer download now available, from silverlock.org, check the tutorials out within the relevant links in the headder of this thread (below). It might help troubleshoot your issues, good luck!
