So I killed the special Drauger at the end of the quest after he was made uninvincible (vincible?). In any event, once he died, the energy field that was surrounding the sphere didn't go away. I can backtrack through the dungeon but that would be irritating if I was unable to get the word wall behind it because the barrier won't go away.

Yeah, I had the same issue. I just had to reload it and do it again. :/

The college mage removes the energy field while you fight and you only can kill him when the field is down. Back track and save just before going in, saves all that replay. I do that to all quests I do when getting to final end of them.

Maybe try turning off collision and see if that works?

I think vulnerable is the word you're looking for.
But yeah, reload an earlier save as other have said.

I'm just continuing on with the quest and we'll see what happens.

Invulnerable - Vulnerable
Invincible - ? Vincible

In any event.. thanks for advice

Invulnerable, unbreakable, unbeatable, etc are synonyms of invincible.
An antonym of any of those words will work when describing something as the opposite of invincible.
I stand corrected, though, vincible works. Never heard about that word before.

Anyway, enough about that. Hope your problem will work itself out.

Well, the sphere was delivered to the college so that wasn't an issue. Of course, I never gained access to the word wall.. maybe I'll delve back into that dungeon and see what's up.
