A good lighting mod AND ENB help- suggestions?
I have been trying to find a decent lighting mod which makes the world a tad brighter because when it comes to screenshots i dont like having to constantly try and find the right spot and then if the lightings not right wait several hours till it is.

I have tried this one today

http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=124300256

but when i play it the game just feels as if its TOO bright. I am giving it a little while to settle in to see if i notice a huge difference or not but so far im not too keen on it.

Heres an example of what i got today but i still did have to mess around with the lighting because it was just TOO bright in some places and my character looked as if someone had shined a touch in her face

any other suggestions on whats a good lighting mod? i just feel vanilla lighting isnt that great

I installed realistic lighting overhaul yesterday, and i'm quite pleased with it.
I'm not sure if a realistic mod is what you're looking for, as some dungeons become quite dark, but i'll give you a link if you want to try it out.

ELFX+CoT. Probably the best combination I've used.

+ Imaginator
links?

also can these be installed easily with mod manager?

also with the image attached can anyone see an actual difference? everyone on the page itself (for the mod) seems to rave about it but if anything i think it adds too much brightness

Yes try C.O.T. or U.R.L.M.
Climates of Tamriel

"Imaginator" and "Enhanced Lights and FX" can be found on skyrim.nexus
Im using WET AND COLD at the moment

will this clash?

also dont i need SKSE for COT?

"Wet and cold" and CoT are fully compatible. CoT does not require skse.

I'm using CoT+Frostfall+Wet and Cold
huh? really?? i was sure as hell that COT required SKSE to use it. That was one of the main reasons i went with Wet And Cold because it could be used without SKSE but could also be used with SKSE.

isnt COT and Wet and Cold x2 different weather mods tho? so wont they clash together?
No conflicts. They are fully compatible. For one of the optional versions CoT - "Winter edition" is generally recommended to use Wet and Cold...
Ok i JUST installed COT off the nexus website

do i ALSO need to install the Climates Of Tamriel - Sounds file as well or is that included in the main file?

also whats the best ENB to use with COT? i was thinking of this because the Alt Lighting 2 mod im using just isnt right for me. I like how colorful its made things but for my characters they look yellow glowy

I was thinking of this enb

Patches for compatibility with Dawnguard and Dragonborn - required if you use dlc
Climates Of Tamriel - Sounds - optional, not required.

Because of the weak computer, I have to play without HD-textures and ENB. Instead, I'm tweaking the brightness, contrast, color saturation, brightness of the sky and sunlight mode manually using the "Imaginator". Along with "Lanterns of Skyrim", "Enhanced Lights and FX", "Realistic water two" and "Dynavision" it looks pretty good. In CoT I put the optional darker the night, and in the "Lanterns of Skyrim" - brighter lanterns.
I did try these to raise the colors and brightness ect

he also does another saturation boost mod i think

But i didnt see much of a difference with these.
I only really saw a differance with Alt Lighting 2 but i think it just makes the lighting on my characters face way way to bright

I want to try Project ENB but its saying i need some DLL file but when i try to find it the page is saying it doesnt exsist anymore?
errr does it not rain with COT installed? i just installed it off the nexus and turned off WET AND COLD to see if it makes any difference...i cant see much if any to be honest aside from it doesnt seem to rain at all anymore and that the night sky looks nice
I'm using "Climates of Tamriel Weather Patch - Fog Rain Overcast" with "Supreme storms"(with this mod heavy rains become even stronger as the heavy snowfall)
