The game works fine for the first 20-30 minutes, but all of a suffen the game just closes to desktop, without warning, I was wondering if anyone has any advice of this matter?

It will be a mod with corrupted files, or missing files...or you have a save game with missing mods on it...

Or, you have mods incorrectly placed in your load order, causing your computer to poop itself, which BOSS might be able to sort for you..

BOg roll Sanitary System....cleans your computer's a** for you....

The only mod I use is the stones of Barenziah makers.

But, it did it before I even added the mod.

where from?..
Steam workshop.
No matching files were found in the search for

''stones of Barenziah makers.'' Can you give us the name, so I can check it out..

If there isn't such a file, then it has been deleted by the mod author....but let's see..

Thanks for link...let's see...

Hmm, does that mod require the other two for it to run?...

How long have you had the mod? Only just installed it?

I suspect you will need to install Sean's mod also, and use BOSS to arrange the load order for you. This help thread might come in usefull for references regarding Mod management:

You don't need any of the other mods to get it working.

I've had it for about a month give or take.
Without sounding off, I don't see the point in messing with the game's scripting to make these quest items droppable....Are you sure you want this mod?

Try deactivating it, and seeing if the game runs, if it crashes straight away, then those save files that have it on will need it to run..

try a new game without the mod activated (yes I know the long intro, but these things are valuable experience for you)...if you can play ok, then you know there is something wrong with the mod.

Report your findings to the mod author (and be polite)...that's all I got :/

Its not being able to drop them, its the quest markers.
WIKI locations?????

So...it's just a mod to cheat. <facepalm>

It could just be an audio or video driver that you might need to update or you may be running out of virtual memory. Have you tried running another screen resolution?
I never got ANY of those mods working that make indicator for stones.. usually after installation game won´t even start. No matter. my other 200 mods run nicely so i think i can forget about this one..
-------- mr.289 save files and 4th installation of Skyrim ------
Depends if you get this one it works, but the other one also makes me crash.
Well, do what I suggested and find out their locations in the wiki and et voila!...Why install a buggy mod?...
